Devils Creek Track

Forest, streams, wildlife and swimming holes.

LOCALS SAY

An absolute gem of a track for experienced riders. This trail includes a black diamond climb (diamond in the rough!) so the trail has lots of challenges if you're looking to test yourself. What goes up, must come down so there's also a hair raising but fun descent for enthusiastic riders to cannonball down (and some do cannonball down it so be cautious of blind corners).

Trail Notes

There’re roots, there’re rocks, there are streams that need to be forded but the sights, the smells and the scenery make it worth it if you put in the effort. This 12.4km tracks has some really special places to stop and take a rest (drinking in the natural beauty or have a picnic) including swimming holes and secluded beech forest glades. It’s omni directional and dogs are allowed so keep your eyes open. The track can become a little boggy in wet weather. The track does cross some private farmland so please be respectful.

You can access this trail via Skippers Saddle car park off the Coronet Peak Rd or access it directly from Coronet Peak Road depending on which end you which to start on (we recommend Skippers Saddle Car par area since it has better parking) and you can just loop back to the carp park once completed.

But wait, there's more...
