Trail Notes

This is an easy Grade 2 ride that offers stunning vistas and majestic natural scenery as well as easy access to services and even wine tastings for those so inclined. This is a good choice for those looking for something a little easier to enjoy with their families.

Starting at the Kawarau Gorge Suspension the bridge (both the gorge and the bridge are photo worthy), on this trail, you’ll wend your way alongside the Kawarau River, pedalling amongst the vines of various celebrated vineyards where you can choose to do some tastings or stop for refreshments if you choose. The trail ends at Gibbston Tavern and Community Reserve (if going one way).
