Missing Link - Lower

It's getting up there that hurts.

LOCALS SAY

CLOSED FOR WINTER - A cracker of a trail but you have to climb, climb, climb to get there. The elevation on this trail is 1047m and you get to the access point by using the walking trail to walk your bike up so it's a pretty good work out. It can get a little boggy in the wet.

Trail Notes

Once you’re up the top it’s a reasonably quick -171m descent over 1.6km. The track is a two way (and also open to dogs and walkers) so please be careful of others – especially on the blind corners. There’re switchbacks in the tussock and this trail can be considered both narrow and fast. It’s elevation also means greater exposure to extreme weather so please keep an eye on the weather forecast.

The access for this trail is off of the “Beeched As” trail which can be accessed off of Upper Hammy’s track in the Queenstown Bike Park via the access road or gondola.

But wait, there's more...
