A little bit of something for everyone here! This full day ride takes you on a countryside tour with amazing vista's, photo opportunities, swim spots and picnic places. Easy to Intermediate (Grade 2 to 3) and if you're lucky enough to ride this trail in Autumn, the colours are magnificent.

Trail Notes

This 33 km cross country trail will take you through the Kawarau Falls Scenic Reserve (and the Zoological Gardens) which follows the Kawarau River. There are wonderful views of the Remarkables and this trail also offers riders swimming spots, picnic places and even waterfalls. It’s a mixed trail and you’ll also need to watch for walkers but it gives riders a good mix of terrain

The start point is the Queenstown Gardens. Heading out on to Frankton Track, you’ll make your way past the Kawarau Bridge. towards Morven Ferry Road. Then you’ll cross under SH6 along the Arrow River Bridges Trail before finishing this ride in Arrowtown.
